Refund & Return Policy

Quick summary
- Frames (without prescription lenses): 14 days, full refund, free reverse pickup.
- Frames with prescription lenses: 7 days for defects or fitting issues — we re-make at our cost.
- Sunglasses & accessories: 14 days, unused condition, original packaging.
- Contact lenses: Non-returnable once the seal is broken (hygiene). Sealed boxes returnable within 14 days.
- 1-year manufacturing warranty on every frame against material/finish defects.
1. How to start a return
Email info@eyesquareoptical.com with your order number and reason, or visit our store at Landmark Apartment, Shop 9, College Rd, near Nandan Sweets, D'souza Colony, Nashik, Maharashtra 422005. We respond within 24 working hours and schedule a reverse pickup.
2. When you'll get your refund
- Once we receive and inspect the returned product, we issue the refund within 3 working days.
- Payment-method credit times: UPI 1–2 days, cards 5–7 days, COD orders refunded to bank account (provide IFSC/account when initiating).
- We will email a confirmation once the refund is issued from our end. The original GST tax invoice will be marked as fully or partially credited; a credit note will be issued where applicable.
3. Who bears the return shipping
- We pay if the product is damaged, defective, or wrong (notify within 48 hours of delivery).
- You pay ₹150 if the return is a change of mind on a prepaid order, or ₹250 on a COD order — deducted from refund.
4. Non-returnable items
- Contact lenses with the foil seal broken (consumer protection & hygiene law).
- Frames damaged by misuse, accidents, or unauthorised repairs.
- Cleaning solutions, cases, and accessories that have been used.
- Custom-tinted lenses or specialty prescriptions made to order.
5. Defective or wrong product
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery — preferably with photographs.
- We arrange a free reverse pickup and either replace or refund (your choice).
- We bear the cost of the original shipping in such cases.
6. Prescription issues
- Allow 5–7 days of wear to adapt (especially for first-time prescription or progressive lenses).
- After adaptation, if the issue persists, we re-verify with a qualified optician and re-make at our cost within 30 days of original delivery.
- Significant power changes from your provided Rx are not covered if your Rx is older than 12 months.
7. Frame fit issues
If a frame doesn't fit comfortably, bring it to our Nashik store — we adjust nose pads, temple curve, etc. at no charge.
8. Cancellation
You can cancel an order any time before it ships — write to us with your order number. Once shipped, the return policy above applies.
9. 1-Year Warranty
Every frame comes with a 1-year manufacturing warranty covering material defects (hinge breakage from normal use, finish peeling within 90 days). This excludes accidental damage, water/sweat corrosion, and damage from use of incorrect cleaning agents.
